In the ever-evolving landscape of education, the need for inspiration, collaboration, and fresh perspectives has never been greater. We understand the value of authentic, meaningful experiences, and there's no better way to learn than by seeing innovative models in action.
The unfortunate reality is that educators, despite their dedication, often find themselves working in isolation. The traditional structures of our education system limit exposure for educators to new ideas and practices beyond the school walls. In this fast-paced world, it's essential to break free from these constraints and explore the educational landscape from a broader perspective.
At Learner-Centered Collaborative, we recognize the immense value in fostering connections and sharing insights across the educational spectrum. That's why we've launched our Connections program. This initiative brings together teams from school districts to embark on transformative journeys, visiting innovative schools and industry partners.
We recently concluded our inaugural convening in San Diego, a journey that left us inspired and invigorated. We explored Bostonia Global, Design 39, VIDA, andConway Academy of Expeditionary Learning, witnessing firsthand the incredible impact of learner-centered approaches.
But we didn't stop at schools; we also ventured into the world of industry by visitingIllumina, a pioneering human genome sequencing company. There, we witnessed the real-world value of whole-learner outcomes such as self-management, resourcefulness, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Now, we invite you to join us on this remarkable journey. Prioritize networking, collaboration, school visits, and industry experiences. Embrace the power of seeing, believing, and transforming education together. Together, we can shape a brighter future for learners everywhere.
Yours in learner-centered collaboration,
