BRIGHT SPOTS

Your weekly source of learner-centered inspiration

Dear Educator,

Are you feeling all the emotions of going back to school? As parents, educators, and school and district leaders, many of us are feeling big emotions as we transition out of summer and gear up to be back in school. We are definitely feeling it in my house and I wanted to remind you (and me!) that whether you are anticipating going back or are already a few days or weeks in, it is ok and very normal to be feeling excited, stressed, overwhelmed, sad, and hopeful (among other emotions) all at once!

This week I am sharing a resource that I hope can be helpful for you as you navigate the beginning of the year and create more learner-centered communities.

With Gratitude,
